Our 1000-Hour Comprehensive Yoga Teacher Training is designed for dedicated yogis like you who are ready to carve out a unique path in the yoga world. Whether you’re a graduate of La Colmena or any Yoga Alliance-recognized 500-hour program, this advanced training allows you to earn your 1000-hour certification, placing you among the most qualified instructors in the field.
Our program offers an additional 500 hours of specialized training that builds on your existing expertise. If you’re committed to living the principles of yoga and advancing your studentship, this program is your next step in the direction of mastery.
To enroll in the 1000-Hour Comprehensive Yoga Teacher Training, you’ll need a 200-hour foundational certificate and a 300-hour advanced level certificate (or a combination 500-hour certificate). We offer the flexibility to complete the required 500 additional hours within five years of starting your first course, making it easier for you to fit this transformative journey into your busy schedule.

Yoga Teacher Training Curriculum
La Colmena Collective offers a unique opportunity to complete an advanced level 1000 hour Yoga Teacher Training through a hybrid experience. Get the convenience of studying online from your own home AND the adventure of traveling to meet with your yoga teacher peers! Combine online learning with an in-person immersion. First, join a big online community of students and then meet an intimate group of classmates during an on-site immersion. Please note that the program cost does not include airfare, housing or meals for the immersion portion of any program. CYA graduates are amongst the world’s most well-prepared foundational-level teachers!
