Ingredients

  • 1 cup organic whole milk (or almond/oat milk for a vegan option)

  • ¼ tsp ashwagandha powder (adaptogenic and grounding)

  • ¼ tsp cinnamon powder (warming and circulation-boosting)

  • 1 pinch nutmeg (calming for Vata and promotes sleep)

  • 1 tsp ghee or coconut oil (nourishing for the nervous system)

  • 1-2 tsp raw honey (added after cooling for its soothing properties)

Preparation

  1. Heat the Milk: In a small saucepan, gently heat the milk until warm, but not boiling.

  2. Mix the Spices: Whisk in turmeric, ashwagandha, cinnamon, nutmeg, and any optional additions. Stir well.

  3. Simmer: Let the mixture simmer on low heat for 5-7 minutes to infuse the milk with the spices.

  4. Add Ghee: Stir in the ghee or coconut oil and mix until fully incorporated.
