Calm Your Spirit with Ayurvedic Blue Moon Milk


Blue Moon Milk is a tranquil, nighttime beverage infused with Ayurvedic ingredients that support relaxation, balance, and clarity. With butterfly pea flower tea giving it a beautiful blue hue, this drink is perfect for calming your mind as you set intentions under the New Moon.


Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of milk (dairy or plant-based, such as almond or oat milk)

  • 1 tsp dried butterfly pea flower petals or 1 butterfly pea flower tea bag

  • 1/4 tsp cardamom powder

  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon powder

  • A pinch of nutmeg

  • 1/2 tsp ashwagandha powder (optional, for stress relief)

  • 1 tsp ghee or coconut oil

  • 1 tsp honey or maple syrup (optional, for sweetness)


Instructions:

  1. Brew the Base: Heat the milk gently in a small saucepan. Add the butterfly pea flower petals or tea bag, letting it steep for 5-7 minutes until the milk turns a rich blue color.

  2. Spice It Up: Remove the tea bag (if using) and whisk in cardamom, cinnamon, nutmeg, and ashwagandha powder.

  3. Add Nourishment: Stir in ghee or coconut oil until melted and well combined.

  4. Sweeten: Remove from heat and stir in honey or maple syrup, if desired.
